The new Daredevil & Echo series debuted this week. It showed the two titular heroes teaming up to investigate a new threat lurking beneath Hell’s Kitchen. While the first issue ended with the appearance of the evil Demagoblin, readers won’t have to wait long to see this epic fight. Marvel is showing off some of the panels of issue #2 and the fight between Daredevil, Echo, and Demagoblin.

A Crime Fighting New Series
Daredevil & Echo comes from the creative team of Taboo, B. Earl, and Phil Noto. The series brings Maya Lopez and Matt Murdoch back together for a case in Hell’s Kitchen. The children of Hell’s Kitchen are disappearing and seem connected to the Demagoblin’s newest plot.
However, both Daredevil and Echo have been through quite the journey in their time apart. In fact, Echo just finished a brief stint as the Phoenix Force. Plus, Matt Murdoch has been dealing with a lot, thanks to Chip Zdarsky. He is grappling with what it means to be Daredevil and all the cowl entails. As the series progresses, seeing how the new Matt and Maya interact and work together will be interesting.
Daredevil & Echo & Demagoblin!
A special first look at the next issue gives a taste of what is in store for the two heroes. As they face down the Demagoblin, Daredevil springs into the air while Echo readies up to kick some butt. Meanwhile, the villainous Demagoblin glides around on a terrifying bewitched skeleton. In one of the pages, he manages to grab Daredevil out of the air and slam him into the ground.
Meanwhile, other preview pages show the two heroes wandering the streets of New York City. All seems calm until an explosion interrupts the day and grabs everyone’s attention. Will Daredevil and Echo be able to stop Demagoblin? Or, are they too late? You can find out when Daredevil & Echo #2in released on June 28.
