The campaign is under the hashtag #BoycottWB. Here, fans are expressing their disappointment and anger about their issues with the company and how the actors are treated. Many are still mad at the treatment of Ray Fischer. Shortly after the release of Justice League, he made allegations of “abusive, unprofessional, and unacceptable” behavior made by Joss Whedon. After making these comments about his treatment, Fisher was let go by the company, halting any future of Cyborg being in the films. However, with this newfound freedom, Fisher has stood his ground against the company and has demanded accountability from those at Warner Brothers.
More Reasons for the Warner Brothers Boycott
Ben Affleck was also vocal about his treatment by the company as he played Batman. He went on to blame the pressure and personal issues for his reason for leaving. In another interview, Affleck stated the reasons why he was leaving Warner Brothers’ Batman, claiming that it had a significant toll on his mental health.

Some have also used “Restore the Snyderverse” along with the message to boycott the DC Cinematic Universe. Here, they want to see an extension of Zack Snyder’s version of the DC characters after the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Among other grievances with the studio, many also cite the ongoing legal disputes between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Many are not pleased with the fact the actress has not been removed from Aquaman 2. However, Depp was removed from Fantastic Beasts, which is held by the same studio.
So far, the petition mentioned above to boycott Warner Bros has gained over twenty thousand signatures. Because of this, it is now one of the top signed petitions on Change.org at the moment.
