This Tuesday, DC’s Harley Quinn is set to cause some chaos in Multiversity: Harley Screws Up the DCU. The six-issue miniseries from Frank Tierri and Logan Faerber sees DC’s clown princess getting a time machine. Whoever thought that was a good idea may need a visit to Arkham Asylum.
The Time Traveling Hijinks of DC’s Harley Quinn
Announced at last year’s “DC Gotham City,” Multiversity: Harley Screws Up The DCU follows Harley Quinn’s joyride through the multiverse. Unfortunately, Harley’s hijinks have some big consequences for the heroes of the DC Universe. Especially when Harley decides to mess with the origin stories of said heroes.
Not only does Harley’s joyride through the multiverse screw with some of DC’s greatest heroes, but it also has some effects for the clown princess. Specifically, the six-issue run features several versions of Harley Quinn from throughout the multiverse. Plus, readers will get a peek into some alternate DC Universes, like one dominated by Starro the Conqueror.
A Peek at the Mayhem
The folks over at CBR have some of the preview pages and covers for the upcoming miniseries. The preview pages show Harley heading back to Coney Island and meeting up with her “Gang of Harleys.” The dolled-up girls and boys are eager to hear of Harley’s adventures in Gotham. However, Harley is more concerned with how poorly the “Gang of Harleys” are handling business in Coney.
As the “Harleys” discuss, the “Red Tool” interrupts with Harley’s mail. Beyond the usual bills and restraining orders, the clown princess receives a strange letter from a “Professor Incredulous.” The mystery letter seems to talk about an inheritance, and just before we discover where Harley can get this newfound gift, the previews end. Look out DC’s multiverse!
Of course, you can probably guess what the inheritance turns out to be. However, who is this mysterious Professor, and why give Harley a time machine knowing she is prone to acts of chaos? Something is clearly up!
