Dead Cells has released its new Boss Rush Mode for all consoles. This new mode will give console players another way to challenge themselves in a new randomized set of challenges. Boss Rush Mode comes as a free update to anyone who currently owns the game.
Boss Rush Mode
As the name implies, in Boss Rush Mode, you will fight multiple bosses from the main game back to back. However, it isn’t quite as simple as fighting the exact same bosses again. There are a few randomized factors to increase the challenge further, and keep players on their toes.
The new mode in Dead Cells will have you fight between three and five consecutive random boss fights, with the difficulty increasing as you move forward. On top of this, the bosses themselves can have newly introduced modifiers. This will give them one of many power-ups. Some examples include giving them extra limbs, to even giving them allies to team up on you. Something to keep in mind is that you will only encounter bosses you have already fought in the story, so, for example, you won’t fight the final boss if you’re still in the middle of the story.
If you manage to complete the Boss Rush Mode, you will be well reward based on how well you do. You can earn a new weapon, skill, and mutation, as well as six brand new skins. You can even be rewarded with a customizable statue.
