Deliciousness from MTV adds to the holiday magic on TV as the channel orders a Ridiculousness spin-off.
MTV has greenlit a food-themed spin-off of its long-running hit series Ridiculousness titled Deliciousness, which will be hosted by Saved by the Bell and Beverly Hills, 90210 star Tiffani Thiessen.
Thiessen – who is also the author of the cookbook Pull Up a Chair and the host of Cooking Channel’s Dinner at Tiffani’s in addition to her acting career – will be joined by several panelists. These include Angela Kinsey from The Office, Kel Mitchell of All That and Kenan & Kel and Tim Chantarangsu from Basic to Bougie, as the show delves into home kitchen fails.
Deliciousness is set to kick off with a week-long holiday-themed special event starting on December 14. Ridiculousness, which is an Internet video clip show with celebrity guests hosted by Rob Dyrdek, with co-hosts Sterling “Steelo” Brim and Chanel West Coast, returns with brand new holiday-themed episodes beginning at 6 PM PT/ET leading into Deliciousness at 7 PM. Together Ridiculousness and Deliciousness, both of which are produced by Superjacket Productions and Gorilla Flicks will be making up the 6 PM to 8 PM block on MTV.
Thiessen is known for the aforementioned shows along with Fox’s Fastlane and USA’s White Collar, most recently co-starring in Alexa & Katie, which aired for four seasons on Netflix.
According to MTV’s description of Deliciousness, the show will feature the following:
From food blunders to restaurant fails to kids in the kitchen and more, Deliciousness celebrates our greatest indulgences – food and drink. Helping to satisfy the foodie in all of us, each episode will showcase the internet’s most viral and entertaining videos.”
MTV confirmed the premiere date of Deliciousness with a promotional trailer which you can watch below.
