Fans of Kamado Tanjiro, Kamado Nezuko, and the rest of the gang need to wait a little longer as the Demon Slayer mobile game has been delayed. Known as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — Keppuu Kengeki Royale, the game is scheduled to be released this year. But with only a couple of days left in the dreaded 2020, the team is apologizing that they decided to postpone the delivery of the game at a later time.
For sure, everybody’s question is when will this Demon Slayer mobile game drop, but sadly, Aniplex did not share any dates on their official announcement. They are only asking for understanding as they are still continuously developing the game that “everyone” can enjoy.
As we reported in October 2020, the Demon Slayer mobile game’s Twitter handle is looking stale. Its last tweet was on May 16, 2020, talking about pre-registration and its rewards. Having an inactive Twitter, especially with a Japanese game, is not a good sign. There are no further reasons as to why the game is delayed aside from the statement given above. Fans can only speculate, but it may be more or less because of the current COVID-19 pandemic that is still crippling the world.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — Keppuu Kengeki Royale is a mobile game that is available on both iOS and Android. It is a battle-type survival action game that is set in the same world as the anime. This is a survival battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and human eating Demons. Whatever side you choose, your goal is to finish your opponents off.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train movie is also not stopping its momentum as it is about to break Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away’s record. The Demon Slayer movie is only 520 million yen away from securing the number one spot at the Japanese box office. It has achieved 31.16 billion yen in just 66 days versus Spirited Away’s near 20 years, according to Crunchyroll.
