For those looking for a challenge, Demon’s Souls on the PS5 is just what you’re looking for. Like the Dark Souls franchise, Demon’s Souls’ bosses are about as unforgiving as you would expect. Their large health bars are nothing compared to their difficult attacks. The Tower Knight boss is no exception. However, you have no need to fret. Out of all the bosses, the Tower Knight lands on the easier side of the spectrum. He’ll still give you a challenge, but with this guide, you will have an easier time than just going at it alone.
How to Beat the Tower Knight in Demon’s Souls
To beat the Tower Knight, you first need to deal with the surrounding archers. Though the Tower Knight will use magic to fire at you, the archers can cause annoying problems when facing the main boss. After that, it just depends on what you are going for.
For those going for a melee build in Demon’s Souls, attacking his ankles and staying behind him is the key. You should run through his legs to get behind him as trying to go around him might allow him to hit you with a sweeping attack. However, if you manage to stay behind him, he can only damage you with his back step and leap. Just keep whacking away at those ankles, and he will eventually fall to his knees. Simply target his head and you will deal massive damage.

If you would rather a ranged approach, the best position to do so is on the archway above the entrance. Here you can use the railing as protection against the Tower Knight’s ranged attacks, but still be able to fire on your own. Though uninspired, it’s an easy method to get this fight over with quickly.
For magic, Soul Arrow is the best spell in Demon’s Souls for this boss. The Tower Knight is especially weak to it. Again, just make sure all the archers are disposed of and strafe around the Tower Knight to expose his weak side. After a few hits with Soul Arrow, the Tower Knight should be defeated.
Though the Tower Knight is incredibly intimidating, you should be able to deal with him relatively easily. Hopefully, this guide was helpful to all of you who are making your way through Demon’s Souls. Be sure to check back for more Demon’s Souls guides.
