It’s yet another Thursday, and you know what that means. It’s time for yet another free game to debut on the Epic Games Store! Last week greeted us with the lovely In Sound Mind, which followed our protagonist as they explored an incredibly unsafe place: their mind. Hopefully, you got the chance to try this rather imaginative horror game, seeing as if you hadn’t claimed it, it’s now back to being a priced experience. That doesn’t matter too much now though, as we have this week’s to look forward to! This week, Epic Games Store users can claim a free copy of Demon’s Tilt, with next week bringing City of Brass and Total War: Warhammer into the mix!
Demon’s Tilt looks at the pinball version that used to come with Windows copies and says “hold my beer” as it turns the otherwise frantic experience up to 11. Pushing the experience of pinball to its absolute limits, this game incorporates hack and slash elements alongside SHMUP features to create a truly unique experience, given fairly occult undertones to add the icing on the bizarre but intriguing cake. That’s not even talking about its sprawling campaign mode laced with a soundtrack to die for. Trust me when I say that if you like pinball or frantic games, this may be just the free game for your liking.
Demon’s Tilt will be free on the Epic Games Store until March 31 at 8 AM, at which point it will be replaced by both rogue-like first-person hack and slash game City of Brass, alongside turn-based strategy legend Total War: Warhammer. If you haven’t stepped foot into the Warhammer series just yet, the latter may just be your best chance to learn the ropes of the well-revered franchise.
Will you be picking up Demon’s Tilt off the Epic Games Store for free? What do you predict will go free after next week’s two games? Let me know!
