Along with a patch update, this marks the fourth week of seasonal challenges for Season of the Haunted. Burning Shame is a new seasonal challenge in Destiny 2. We’ll help you complete it so you can move on to tackle the rest of the challenges and reap the rewards.
Complete Burning Shame Seasonal Challenge in Destiny 2
Season of the Haunted brings new seasonal quests each week for the first ten weeks of the season. With Burning Shame, you can tackle this challenge and finish a mission at the same time.
In the game, the Burning Shame challenge states the following:
Complete “Sever – Shame” using only Solar subclass and Solar, Kinetic, or Stasis weapons.
To approach this, remember that “Sever – Shame” is not the mission introduced in week four. Instead, it is the first Sever mission.
This is a mission that you can take on at any point as you don’t need a Bound Essence, so there’s no real reason to rush it.
When you’re ready to take this one on, be sure to equip a Solar subclass. Once that’s done, just equip a Kinetic, Solar, or Stasis weapon.
From there, you just have to do the mission to complete the Burning Shame challenge in Destiny 2.
Rewards for Completing Burning Shame in Destiny 2
Once you finish the “Sever – Shame” mission using the above requirements, you’ll finish Burning Shame in Destiny 2.
This will unlock two rewards:
- Figments of Darkness
- 25,000 XP
The extra XP is always useful, but the Figments of Darkness is especially handy this season. They are a new rare resource used in the game. Figments of Darkness are the only way for you to unlock the upgrades for the Crown of Sorrow in the H.E.L.M.
Destiny 2 is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
