“Dare to Dream” is a Solstice Event Challenge in Destiny 2 required to rekindle the Candescent Armor Set and attain the Flamekeeper title. However, this particular challenge is somewhat different from the other twenty-three challenges that the Solstice Event offers. Guardians are given the choice of completing “Dare to Dream” via a paid route with real-world money or via the free-to-play content available. Completion of this Event Challenge grants participants an Event Ticket and Kindling, the resource required for upgrading the Candescent Armor Set. As for the Event Ticket, players can use this currency to redeem limited-time cosmetic items available only during the Solstice.
Completing The Dare To Dream In Destiny

To complete the “Dare to Dream” Event Challenge in Destiny 2, players must clear runs of the “Blind Well” or “Dares of Eternity,” two activities that reward participants with Silver Leaves. The “Blind Well” is a Guardian-initiated activity in the Dreaming City that tasks Guardians with defending an ancient Awoken portal against hordes of Scorn, Taken, and Hive.

Conversely, “Dares of Eternity” is accessible only through the Season of the Lost as part of the 30th Anniversary Pack DLC, meaning that this activity for completing “Dare to Dream” is locked behind a paywall. Nevertheless, those that own this DLC will have an easier time completing the Solstice Event Challenge with this mission than those doing the “Blind Well.” The “Blind Well” features four Tier Charges that summons enemy mobs of increasingly difficult enemy mobs to fend off, an activity that may be challenging for some players.Â
As mentioned earlier, Guardians will earn a currency known as Silver Leaves after completing either “Blind Well” or “Dares of Eternity.” This event-exclusive currency can be used for enhancing the pieces of one’s Candescent Armor Set. There’s a max cap of 100 for Silver Leaves. Therefore, players can take convert their Silver Leaves into Silver Ash. This process can be done by interacting with the bonfire at the end of “Bonfire Bash,” one of the Triumphs required for Gilding the Flamekeeper title. By doing this, players can reach a maximum cap of 500 for their Silver Ash. Additionally, bear in mind that Guardians must equip a piece of Candescent Armor before entering “Blind Well” or “Dares of Eternity;” otherwise, they will not be able to earn Silver Leaves.Â
Destiny 2Â is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
