Get the Shadow’s Return Triumph for the Reaper Title in Destiny 2
Without the Shadow’s Return Triumph, you can’t get that cool Reaper Title in Destiny 2. So, let’s get to work on grabbing that triumph.
To start, Shadow’s Return consists of multiple triumphs grabbed in the Derelict Leviathan. Note that you may not grab this in one playthrough. This is because much of what you have to do requires you to battle certain enemies that don’t always spawn when you want them to.
Because of this, it helps to naturally attempt this triumph while simply going through the game. Much of it is as luck-based as it is skill-based. Even so, get your gear in order as you have a lot of fighting to do.
But here is everything you must do to get the Shadow’s Return Triumph in Destiny 2:
- Get to Taking Out Their Commanders, One by One
- Controlled Burn
- A Guardian is a Guardian, Even in a Nightmare
- Fever Dream
Triumphs Explained for Shadow’s Return in Destiny 2
With Get to Taking Out Their Commanders, One by One, you have to defeat Nightmares in the Royal Pools:
- Nightmare of Ky’leks, the Docked
- Nightmare of Evoks, the Burned
Controlled Burn is another challenge that pushes you to battle the roaming Nightmares in the Pleasure Gardens:
- Nightmare of Tlazat, Fed to Beasts
- Nightmare of Uaoc, Spine Breaker
Next up in your journey for the Shadow’s Return Triumph in Destiny 2 is A Guardian is a Guardian, Even in a Nightmare. There are four parts to this challenge. This deals with assisting coalition troops throughout the Derelict Leviathan by disrupting Calus’s Loyalists forces.
Here are the four triumphs you must get:
- At the Behest of the Empress: Defeat Jai’ek, Supplicant of Calus and Au’gor, Devoted of Calus.
- Exile Ended: Beat a Loyalist commander, then release their prisoner.
- Battle Lines: You must defeat a Loyalist force and also bring the Loyalist Sentinel Commander down.
- Shared Fears: You have to defeat Cek’ik, Seeker of the Deep.
Lastly, there’s Fever Dream. With this, you’re one step closer to the Shadow’s Return Triumph and the Reaper Title in Destiny 2.
In this triumph, you must kill 5 Nightmares and subsequently clear the Haunted Alcoves they’re in:
- Sporest of Beasts: Battle Nightmare of Carun, Beastmaster near resting hounds.
- Nightmare Breached: Kill Nightmare of Kra’lok, the Sword and Nightmare of Ha’lok, the Shield that resides opposite Calus.
- Drainage: Defeat Nightmare of Qalec, the Sniper in an unused passage.
- Ritual Under Shadow: Kill Nightmare of Sy’ad, the Unending in a passageway.
