Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is now available, and the update includes more than enough content for players to sink their teeth into. With not just a heap of main missions, but a whole new open-world to explore and a heap of side quests to do, there’s plenty for you to take care of for the remainder of the year and prior to the next expansion, Lightfall. One of these quests, which you may be having trouble with, is the Trust Goes Both Ways quest from the small ghost Fynch. If you’re having trouble with the said quest, we’re here to help. In this guide, we’ll explain how to complete the Trust Goes Both Ways quest in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen!
How to Complete the Trust Goes Both Ways Quest in Destiny 2
Step 1: Loot Region Chests
If you’ve done this on other planets before, it should be fairly straightforward. If you haven’t though, region chests show up on your map as small plus symbols. Head over to the rough location of one and search around a bit, and you should find a golden chest somewhere nearby. If you’re planning to do the ones in Quagmire as shown in the image above, here’s how to find each chest:
Southern Region Chest: You should see a small blueish building with the quest marker inside it. While that may be your first instinct, head up the rocks on the right and on top of the building. There, you should find the required chest.
Central Region Chest: You should be on or near a small bridge. Drop down one of the sides onto one of two small platforms, then drop in between both to find the region chest.
Northern Region Chest: This one is located on the side of the massive overhang. You can’t miss it, as it’s a glowing golden chest in the middle of a large rock.
Step 2: Defeat Scorn and Complete a Public Event in the Miasma
This one is pretty straightforward. Simply kill a ton of Scorn enemies and complete a public event over in the Miasma (which may actually get you progress towards the quest), and you’ll be done this step in no time.
Step 3: Loot Faction Chests and Complete Patrols in the Miasma
Like step 2, this step is fairly straightforward but has a catch that’s worth keeping note of. Faction chests are respawning chests that randomly show up throughout the world, so naturally, we can’t give you exact locations. What we can do though is head over to your current ghost shell and equip the mod Expert Tracker, which will give you chest locations within a 50-meter radius. This should make the job a million times easier, though can be done as well with the lesser “Tracker” mods.
Step 4: Return to Fynch
Again, this shouldn’t need any explaining. Simply return to Fynch, and he’ll give you the weapon to complete the quest. Congratulations on completing Trust Goes Both Ways in Destiny 2, and good luck with the next quests you do!
