Destiny 2 launched update 184.108.40.206 today across all platforms, and if you’ve been looking for the latest patch notes, then your long search is finally over. As Bungie notified players today, it required a bit of server maintenance and downtime to get Destiny 2 fully up-to-date, but hopefully, the bug fixes and wrinkle smoothing will make it all worthwhile. The Festival of the Lost event recently wrapped up, so you’re no doubt excited to see what Destiny 2 has in store next. Enough waffling, let’s check out the patch notes!
Destiny 2 Update 220.127.116.11 Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue that caused the Sub Machinist medal to require defeating three opponents instead of two.
- Fixed an issue where some subclass and Exotic armor perks were unintentionally activating when damaging Stasis Crystals.
- Fixed an issue where Frenzy and Rampage perks were both named Szał in Polish, causing confusion.
Not a lot of major changes overall, but at least Polish players can now sleep easy knowing that they won’t confuse the Frenzy and Rampage perks. Is this enough to hold you over until the Witch Queen campaign drops in February 2022? If you’ve been annoyed by the overly demanding requirements for the Sub Machinist medal or the unintentional activation of exotic armor perks, then: maybe! Otherwise, you’ll have to be satisfied with our excellent coverage!
Destiny 2 is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It’s free to download and play, and if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber you’ll also get access to the post-launch expansions, free of charge.
