Losing your progress in games like Diablo 4 can be frustrating. It seems that a player who reached level 100 in Hardcore mode just a few days after Diablo 4 came out is experiencing just that. The most annoying part of the situation for the player is that it didn’t happen because of a failure. Instead, the player dies as a result of an unexpected issue in the game and loses his 100-level character along with all his stuff.

Hardcore is a risky game mode in the Diablo franchise for those who don’t know. This mod takes a lot of courage, and when you die, it will permanently delete your character along with all of your items. The Twitch streamer named “cArn,” who reaches level 100 in Hardcore Mode, is experiencing exactly this.
Everything was going smoothly in Hardcore mode for the broadcaster. The player, performing pretty well with his level 100 character, suddenly started experiencing connection problems and eventually lost access to his character. As soon as the player lost connection with the server, his character died, and this daredevil mod’s curse occurred. The streamer, who was disappointed with this issue, lost the first character to reach level 100 in this mode, along with his gears.
Blizzard has a pretty strict policy for Hardcore mode. Stating that it is not responsible for hardcore characters in any way, the studio says that all risk belongs to the fans. These include the disconnect experienced by Diablo 4’s first 100-level Hardcore mode player. The Twitch streamer “cArn,” who managed to etch his name in Diablo history, now has to start everything from scratch.
If you want to try the game out and see what’s happening, Diablo 4 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows.
