Clay is a common resource in Disney Dreamlight Valley that players must gather to craft items and complete quest objectives. “Remembering Old Times,” in particular, is a Friendship Quest during which Minnie Mouse tasks the Savior protagonist with collecting 200 stacks of Clay. While this natural resource is not hard to find, gathering 200 stacks might sound like a monumental and tedious task for players to complete. After all, unlike crops, Clay cannot be produced but can only be found in unfarmed soil. Where To Farm Clay In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To farm Clay in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Dreamers must first understand where this resource can be found. This material can be dug up from soil located in the Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Forgotten Lands. Therefore, if players attempt to search any other biomes, they will not find Clay.

Each of the three biomes listed above costs Dreamlight to unlock. The Glade of Trust can be entered after giving Merlin 5,000 Dreamlight, and the Sunlit Plateau becomes accessible using 7,000 Dreamlight. The Forgotten Lands is the most costly, requiring 10,000 to remove the thorns at its entrance. Nevertheless, all three offer Clay-producing soil. Typically, Dreamers might use their Shovel to harvest the cracked nodes on the ground. These nodes can drop Grass, Coal, and occasionally Clay. However, these spots of cracked earth only appear so often, meaning they are not an efficient means to farm Clay in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
According to YouTube content creator Serroh, the best way to farm Clay is by digging in a straight line, from one spot to another, creating rows of unearthed soil. Depending on RNG, Clay has a small chance of dropping from one of these nodes. Having a companion assigned as a digging assistant will significantly help speed up this process. Eventually, players will run out of room to dig and must retrace their steps, refilling the spots they dug out. However, this process is time-consuming and wastes energy. Thus, Serroh proposes that players exploit a glitch by entering the build mode and placing a large piece of Furniture down on every patch of dirt. This action will cause the mounds to disappear permanently once the player saves their work. Continue digging in the three biomes and repeat this dirt-removal method to farm a massive amount of Clay within an hour’s work in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
