Doc Cosmos and Retro Re-Emergence
Brand new releases for retro consoles are becoming a gaming norm in today’s age. Thanks to inspiring technology to replicate the old ways, Bitmap Soft is ready to publish a new adventure. From developer Simon Jameson comes the wonders of Doc Cosmos, who is searching for a piece of ancient technology.
In Doc Cosmos – The Saga Begins, our aging protagonist wishes to retire, but he must first conclude his mission on finding a device that allows time travel. The only downside, alien wildlife is running amok, and Doc doesn’t have the strength to defeat them. To prevail, not only will Doc have to jump them, he’ll need the device to manipulate the timelines.
The 8-bit cosmic journey will see the Doc engaging in time-bending puzzles across 100 different screens. Previously, Doc Cosmos was developed for the Commodore 64 just a couple of years ago. Its creation still came from Simon Jameson, but that original version only contained 47 screens. Now, you can enjoy the game while being on the move. Coming only to the Gameboy Color, Doc Cosmos is now available for pre-order. It’s being retailed at £40.00/$55.00, and players can check out the game in action on the game’s page here, along with some additional screenshots.
