As this is just following the colossal update that is the next-gen update for DOOM Eternal, there isn’t a huge amount to talk about this time around. If you’re an avid player of Battlemode though, these changes are bound to matter a lot to you. As such, without further adieu, here’s everything that’s changed in DOOM Eternal’s July 8 Battlemode update!

This balance patch, while fairly minimal, should improve Battlemode in DOOM Eternal quite significantly. These precision weapons were felt to be too weak by the team, so having more damage at longer distances should remedy that issue. The mancubus changes, while also small, should help many things as well. Again, this is a small update, but one that should prove helpful to some players.
DOOM Eternal’s July 8 (Battlemode) update is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. For more information regarding this update, check out the official patch notes!
