Bandai Entertainment America announced they will be streaming a video on Wednesday (December 1) for a Dragon Ball: The Breakers beta closure. The company also announced that they will also be taking email sign-ups on the Dragon Ball: The Breakers website.
The game is listed as an action game in which seven “Survivors” face off against an eighth “Raider” player. The game is described as,
Caught in an unexpected temporal phenomenon, seven ordinary citizens find themselves stranded in a Temporal Seam. They share their imprisonment with a Raider, a menacing enemy from another timeline with an overwhelming power.”
The Updated Mechanics for Dragon Ball: The Breakers
The Raider takes the form of an already existing Dragon Ball character such as Cell, Frieza, or Buu. From there, the Raider must take out the Survivors. If the Raider takes out all of the survivors, then it is considered a “complete victory”. Each Raider also comes with an “Evolution”, which allows them to wipe out different areas of the map for given periods of time.
The Survivors, who have been sucked into a “Temporal” seam, have no superpowers. Instead, they use items, weapons, and vehicles to fight against and evade the Raiders. While evading., they must also search for the Super Time Machine to escape. The more keys that are found, the quicker the startup system goes. All of this must be done before the time for the round runs out.
As Bandai lists it now, there will be a Survivor customization mode for avatars. Players can also obtain skins and different equipment through prizes, credits, or in-game purchases. The game will also link save data to the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game.
Changing into a random object is one of the many ways you survive in the Temporal Seam.
