Everyone gets really happy when leaks turn out to be true. A while ago when the next-gen version of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot launched, some users noticed files for the fifth DLC. While the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions launched with Bardock’s DLC, there was another in the works. Well, today Bandai Namco has officially announced the World Tournament DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. This DLC will tell the story of the 23rd tournament as we saw in the anime. In it, we’ll be able to play one of the most iconic fights of the Dragon Ball arc.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot World Tournament DLC will feature Goku and Piccolo
The upcoming DLC Â will feature Goku and Piccolo’s fight in the original anime. Those who watched it might remember this iconic duel. Piccolo, known as Ma Jr., was one of Goku’s toughest opponents at the time. We don’t know if the DLC will be as big as Bardock’s since it let players fight on other planets and take on hordes of enemies. With the focus on a single tournament, we have no idea of how contained the story will be.
