Bandai Namco has announced the development of some DLC for Dragon Ball FighterZ along with a new Dragon Ball Z RPG game.
No details have been released other than this will be an action RPG game and that it will be most likely focusing on the world of Dragon Ball Z. As for the FighterZ DLC news, Bandai Namco said that they will add a character from the universe 11 which everyone is assuming is Jiren. The final boss of the tournament of power arc in Dragon Ball Super. Bandai Namco said (via Twitter) that they would have more information at the Dragon Ball FighterZ world tour finals on January 26-27.
“In 2019, the project of a New Game focusing on the World of Dragon Ball Z begins! And more news coming to DRAGON BALL FighterZ! The Warrior from Universe 11 is joining the fight!
More information to be revealed at the DRAGON BALL FighterZ World Tour Finals January 26th ~ 27th!”
It should be said that while this could mean that they could be teasing more information about the action RPG game, it could just be about other Dragon Ball titles. And during the stream, they also hinted that a second DLC for Dragon Ball FighterZ is on its way soon.
In other Dragon Ball news, the long-awaited movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly came out in theaters this week. It released with positive reception and some people are calling it one of the best Dragon Ball movies. It has made over $5 million in the U.S so far.
