As players explore the zombie-infested streets of Dying Light 2, there have been several secrets that have been uncovered. These range from safes scattered around the map to a hoverboard! For one item, however, players needed to go past the game itself and dive into to code of the newly released title to find quite the discovery: a fully functioning bike! This item cannot be found in the game without modding the game, but if you know how to set up a certain mod, you will be able to access this secret bike and take it around the city. This guide will explain how to get the secret bike in Dying Light 2.
How To Get The Secret Bike In Dying Light 2
The first step is to explain that since this is only accessible through a mod, console players are out of luck unless the bike gets added in officially. The bike can be found by going into the game’s developer menu, which can be downloaded from the Dying Light 2 Nexus Mod page. Once you have downloaded the mod, open the Zip folder and move the folder titled “Dying Light 2 Menu” and drop it into the main Dying Light 2 folder. Once you have done all of this, you can access the developer menu in-game, and you can find the bike under the “Items” section.

Players who use mods or developer menus before would be familiar with many aspects or items that can only be found in these menus are often incomplete. This bike is different, however, as it seems to be mostly complete. It drops in durability while using it, it can be ridden around without much issue, and will still cause the player damage when falling from great heights. It can only be speculated why it ended up on the cutting room floor, but for now, this mod is the only way to access the secret bike. Let’s hope it gets added into the game in a future update so that everyone will be able to use it.
Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
