Dying Light 2 offers quite an expansive map to explore. With plenty of zones to explore, and tons of side activities to sink your teeth into, there’s no end to the number of missions you can partake in to help The City. Through the main story quest though, you’ll eventually make your way to a whole new set of zones in the Central Loop, though will seemingly have no way of returning to Old Villedor to clean up its side content. That is if you aren’t aware of one key detail. In this guide, we’ll explain how to return to Old Villedor in Dying Light 2!
How to Return to Old Villedor in Dying Light 2
See, as the game doesn’t explain this mechanic, you may be entirely unaware of it up to this point. But once you unlock either the Metro or the ship base, you can fast travel between them and the one unlocked Metro station over in Old Villedor. That’s right, while the game doesn’t mention it during the tutorial, there is a fast travel system. You just didn’t have much use for it when you were stuck working with Hakon in Old Villedor. Simply hold the shown key (F by default on PC) on the Metro over in Old Villedor to spawn there and complete whatever side objectives are still remaining in the city. Then, when you want to get back to the Central Loop for whatever reason, simply fast travel over to either the Metro station or the ship base in the Central Loop and you’ll be back there. You can do this freely unless stated otherwise, so feel free to go to and from at your leisure.
