Dying Light 2 features many side quests for players to take part in, with a surprising amount of depth and a full array of choices. Take our Princess in the Tower quest we covered for example, where you determined the future of a brother-sister relationship based solely on a single choice. One major choice you have to make for a side quest takes place during the Missing Persons quest, where the conclusion sees you having to save Damien from committing suicide by jumping from the church tower in the Bazaar. If you’re confused about which choices you should make to save him, there’s no need to worry. In this guide, we’ll tell you exactly how to save Damien during the Missing Persons quest in Dying Light 2!
How to Save Damien During Missing Persons in Dying Light 2
When it comes time to talk him down from jumping out of the church tower, it’s important to note that there’s only one path that will lead to a successful resolution in this quest. Talking about jumping will obviously result in him jumping from the tower, though talking about his brother (after unfortunately killing him) will result in him jumping as well. Instead, you want to opt into talking about life and try to make him realize the error of his ways. From there, you’ll want to threaten to jump with him, which will convince him further. Then finally, when you have the chance to interrupt him, do so and he’ll be saved from jumping off the church tower.
It’s as simple as that! If you make those three decisions when the time comes, Damien will be saved during the side quest Missing Persons in Dying Light 2! Now you can move onto other side quests, knowing you won’t randomly hear about his death on your journey.
