Dying Light 2 features many side quests that, while unaffecting of the main story and its conclusion, can prove to nicely wrap up some loose ends and just be enjoyable to do if you want more out of your experience. I know for a fact as I did a good handful of missions throughout my playthrough, and found them to be far more in-depth than a good handful of RPGs out there. During one such quest, which conveniently wraps up a loose end, you must choose whether you give Aitor herbs and which herbs you should give him. You may be left conflicted depending on your actions during the Old Villedor section, so allow me to be of help. In this guide, I’ll explain which herbs you should give Aitor in Dying Light 2!
Should You Give Aitor the Herbs in Dying Light 2?
When you finally grab the herbs from the quest location and return to Aitor, you’re presented with four different options. These are to give Aitor the small herbs, give him the big herbs, not give him them at all, or call Lawan to potentially get help. Now if you wish for Aitor to be out of the picture due to your actions in Old Villedor, I’d suggest either giving Aitor the big herbs or nothing at all. Now, should you want him to survive, then you’re going to want to give him the small herbs or call Lawan to get help. Should you call her, she’ll tell you that you need to give him the small herbs for him to be healed. Then you’ll be presented with the remaining three options and will be free to choose as you see fit. The only thing that will change should you choose to give Aitor the small herbs in Dying Light 2 is Jack Matt contacting you letting you know he’s back on his feet shortly after.
