“With Halo Infinite, we will join Master Chief on his greatest adventure yet to save humanity,” head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, said. His words echoed throughout the auditorium as he made his way onto the stage for the first time for E3 2018. Directly after the shot of Master Chief’s helmet made it clear that the next installment of the Halo franchise would be coming very soon.
Check out the first ever trailer for Halo Infinite below.
This could be one of the biggest releases for Xbox as they proceed with their future. Although the Halo franchise may feel like it’s being overdone, Infinite feels like it’s going to be a lot different than what we’re all used to.
Sprawling landscapes, strange looking beasts, Master Chief… There’s going to be a lot for fans to enjoy. Halo Infinite will be powered by the new Slipspace engine and has no set release date at the moment.
