Ed Sheeran‘s wife Cherry Seaborn said to be “recovering well” after finding a tumor during pregnancy. It couldn’t be treated until the couple’s second child, Jupiter was born.
Singer Ed Sheeran is arguably one of Britain’s biggest talents. However, there is still a lot of mystery surrounding his personal life and Sheeran proudly keeps it that way.
Sheeran tied the knot with his high school sweetheart Cherry Seaborn in an intimate ceremony in 2019. They welcomed their first child, daughter Antarctica in September 2020.
The couple welcomed their second daughter, Jupiter in May 2022. The 32-year-old singer shared the news with his fans on social media alongside a photo of a tiny pair of socks. He wrote:
“Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4.”
Interestingly, neither Jupiter nor Antarctica have even been seen — with the couple preferring to keep them away from the spotlight. The couple also hid Cherry’s second pregnancy until she delivered their second child.

Ed Sheeran’s Wife’s Tumor Diagnosis
Although Sheeran prefers to keep his family affairs private, he still tries to interact with his fans on Instagram. However, in the last few months, the award-winning singer has been a bit inactive on social media.
On Wednesday, while sharing the exciting news of his soon-to-be-released album “Subtract,” Ed Sheeran opened up about his wife Cherry Seaborn‘s tumor diagnosis.
In the post, Sheeran detailed how his album had been delayed by a series of devastating life events. In his words:
“Within the space of a month, my pregnant wife got told she had a tumor, with no route to treatment until after the birth.”
Sheeran revealed he and his wife were plagued with “fear, depression, and anxiety” because of the diagnosis. However, following the birth of Jupiter, things seem to have taken a good turn.
A source has now confirmed Cherry has been able to get the treatment she needs and is “recovering well.” While speaking to Sun, the source said:
“It’s been an incredibly tough time for Cherry and Ed. The tumor came as a huge shock, and the fact they couldn’t operate straight away was hugely concerning and scary.”
The source added that once Jupiter arrived, Cherry began receiving treatment. According to the source, Ed Sheeran’s wife is doing much better now, and the couple is hoping for a great year.
In Sheeran’s lengthy post on Wednesday, he explained how he struggled with his mental health in 2022. He revealed his Cherry Seaborn’s pregnancy tumor struggles coupled with the death of his best friend Jamal Edwards made it a tough year.
However, things finally seem to be getting better with the latest update on his wife. And with his new album set to be released in May, Sheeran can now look forward to a great 2023.
