As soon as an anime starts to gain traction, you can usually guess that some form of a mobile tie-in with a game will follow. Sometimes the anime in question will even get a game of its own, such as One Piece (and its One Piece: Treasure Cruise gacha game), Dragon Ball (Dragon Ball Legends), and even Fairy Tail (Fairy Tail: Forces Unite!). The latest one to get the mobile game treatment is Edens Zero, which comes from the same creator as Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima. Edens Zero: Pocket Galaxy is the name of the game, and during a live stream with some of the people behind the game and anime, they revealed that mobile pre-registrations are available for the game starting today.
At Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines. But one day, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park’s front gates. Little do these newcomers know that this is the first human contact Granbell has had in a hundred years! As Shiki stumbles his way into making new friends, his former neighbors stir at an opportunity for a robo-rebellion…And when his old homeland becomes too dangerous, Shiki must join Rebecca and Happy on their spaceship and escape into the boundless cosmos.” show description
Edens Zero was originally published in manga form by Hiro Mashima, the creator of both Rave Master and Fairy Tail – the latter has just received another anime season in the form of Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest, which comes from the sequel to the original Fairy Tail. Anyway, the show of Edens Zero is relatively new, first premiering in April. Mobile pre-registration is like a pre-order with any other game so that when Edens Zero: Pocket Galaxy finally releases, people who have pre-registered will get a notification to download the game.
