There are many different places and landmarks found throughout the Lands Between of Elden Ring. One of the recurring landmarks that you can come across is Rises, towers that usually take a few steps to get inside. One of these towers is known as Albinauric Rise and has one of the more unique puzzle solutions that players will need regarding how players gain access to it. This guide will explain how to get into Albinauric Rise in Elden Ring.
How To Get Into Albinauric Rise In Elden Ring
To solve the puzzle of the Albinauric Rise, you will first need to find it. This tower can be found in the Consecrated Snowfield in the northern part of the map. To access this area, you will need to find both halves of the Haligtree Medallion and use it at the Rise of Rold beyond the Forbidden Lands. Once to this zone, head through the blizzard to the east until you reach the point of the map pictured below. Many of the Rises are found dotted around the map and usually have some sort of puzzle related to accessing them. Some have a little book held up by a stone goblin outside the front door, telling you a hint to the puzzle. Albinauric Rise is slightly different as there is no book, but instead, there is a pair of Fanged Imp statues fighting each other in front of the tower. This is the hint on how to get in. You will need to have a Fanged Imp kill another Fanged Imp to open the way.
There are two ways to get Fanged Imps to kill each other: one is by using an item known as a Bewitching Branch, and the other is by using the Fanged Imp Spirit Ash Summon. The former is an item that can be bought from the Nomadic Merchant at the Bellum Church in Liurnia or chosen as a starting gift keepsake. The Fanged Imp Ashes can also be chosen as a starting gift or can be purchased at Raya Lucaria from the Isolated Merchant. From the Main Academy Gate Site of Grace, go back down the road beyond the crest you entered the area from. You will pass multiple wolves to get to the merchant. From here, you can buy the Ashes to help get you into Albinauric Rise.
Once you either get a Bewitching Branch or the Fanged Imp Ashes, return to the Albinauric Rise. Two spectral Imps are patrolling around the tower. You can use the Bewitching Branch on one of the then and watch them fight or summon the Imp Spirit Ashes and have them fight the enemy Imps. Once any Imp dies, the Rise will unlock, allowing you to enter and get the Graven-Mass Talisman to increase your sorceries’ potency greatly.
