How To Get The Phantom Slash Ash Of War In Elden Ring
The Phantom Slash Ash of War is an ability that is dropped upon defeating one of the recurring bosses found in the overworld, The Night’s Calvary. This specific boss that you are looking for is found in the Forbidden Lands, the area beyond Leyndell, the Capital City, and is able to be accessed after defeating Margott, the Omen King. Travel to the Forbidden Lands Site of Grace and change the time of day to night. During the nighttime, a Night Calvary boss will spawn in the Forbidden Lands, wielding a giant halberd. You will need to defeat the Night Calvary, who will drop the Phantom Slash Ash of War upon their death.

Once you have this Phantom Slash Ash of War, you will be able to travel to the Roundtable Hold to have Master Blacksmith Hewg customize the Ashes of Wars on your weapons. If you have a Whetstone Knife, you can also customize your weapon’s Ashes of War at any Site of Grace.
