Elden Ring is not just an incredibly expansive game, but it’s a very challenging one as well. As with any soulslike you can find on the market, you’ll likely be taking more than a few tries before finally surpassing a difficult encounter or boss, but that’s the fun in it, right? Well, if you want to make that job substantially easier, you can summon up some AI spirits to either deal damage or draw aggression from your enemies so you can handle the situation just a bit easier. How do you go about this you may ask? Well, we have your answer. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to summon spirits to fight with you in Elden Ring!
How to Summon Spirits in Elden Ring
To summon spirits in Elden Ring, you’ll first need to get the Spirit Calling Bell. This bell can be found by heading to the Gatefront Ruins, which can be found to the East of the Church. Once here, interact with one of the two sites of grace found on either side of the Gatefront Ruins, and Melina will appear. She will offer you a request in exchange for your horse, which you sadly must accept (no need to worry though). Once you do, head back to the site of grace and wait until nighttime. Once you do, another character will appear who you haven’t met yet. This is the witch Renna who, after a short conversation, will give you the Spirit Calling Bell and Lone Wolf Ashes. Once you have it, merely equip Summoning Ashes as a consumable and activate it to summon spirits. Keep in mind that you can only do this in densely packed areas though. It’ll also cost FP, similar to other spells.
Congratulations! You can now have a miniature spirit army to do battle with in Elden Ring. Best of luck in the Lands Between, Tarnished!
