The Volcano Manor is a Legacy Dungeon in Elden Ring that sits atop the molten summit of Mt. Gelmir in the Atlus Plateau and features a variety of activities, NPC quests, and side missions, including its own main questline. The manor’s primary goal revolves rebelling against the order of the Fingers and Erdtree and assassinating Tarnished from other worlds. Tanith, the estate’s headmistress, will provide details on who and where these assassinations are to be carried out and will reward Tarnished adventurers accordingly for their efforts. Therefore, to complete the Volcano Manor’s questline in Elden Ring, players must fulfill the contracts and defeat the Legacy Dungeon’s boss, Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy.
Volcano Manor Questline Guide for Elden Ring
Once Elden Ring adventurers have arrived at Volcano Manor, they must accept assassination contracts from Tanith by picking up Letters located in the dining room. This chamber can be found down the hall on the left and will be the area where Tarnished learn of their next target.
After picking up the first Letter from Volcano Manor, Elden Ring fans can see the location of their first target Old Knight Istvan, who can be found on the trail north of the Warmaster’s Shack in Limgrave. After defeating this Tarnished, the protagonist will receive the Magma Shot Sorcery and Istvan’s armor set as rewards. The second letter is located on the dining room table like before and requires the player to assassinate Rileigh the Idle in Altus Plateau. His red summoning sign can be found by riding up the elevator next to the Old Altus Tunnel Site of Grace, north of the Erdtree-Gazing Hill. Tanith will reward players with the Serpentbone Blade for the deed.
Finally, the Red Letter marks the final target of the Volcano Manor’s questline in Elden Ring, Juno Hoslow. He can be found in the Mountaintops of the Giants, near the Shack of the Lofty. Once players have killed him, they will receive the Taker’s Cameo Talisman and also be invited to face Rykard in battle. Once the Demigod has been defeated, fans can return to the boss room to kill Tanith for her outfit and a secret Incantation.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
