FromSoftware games are infamous for their brutal difficult boss fights, and Elden Ring is no exception. Whether it’s an optional boss fight or a big essential one, every one of them have their weaknesses and attack strategy that needs to be learned. This is also true for the final boss of the Elden Ring, The Elden Beast. Here is how to beat the Elden Beast and its weaknesses in Elden Ring.
What is the Elden Beast’s Weakness in Elden Ring
After you defeat Godfrey, the battle of the game’s final boss known as the Elden Beast will commence, and there is no relaxation time between. One of the many challenges you face at the game’s ending is how rapidly bosses come one after another. If you have managed to kill Godfrey and survived both of its forms, you will face the final boss of the game, which can also be the toughest of them all.
In the beginning, you will be facing Radagon of the Golden Order. Radagon is hard to beat if you don’t make a strategy before facing it. His attacks are lethal; therefore, an excellent strategy to avoid its attacks in the meanwhile is essential. The first thing is to make sure you have the right spirit summon. After that, max out your mimic tear because it is the best strategy to defeat the Radagon.

When the fight starts, summon your Mimic Tear. Dodge Radagon’s attacks until its focus shift toward the spirit. After that, start attacking it but be aware of its AOE attacks that can make you lose a big chunk of your health.
After you defeat Radagon of the Golden Order, the Elden Beast will appear. Unlike Radagon, the strategy with Elden Beast is quite simple. Just make sure you hit the boss from behind; this way, you will avoid most of its attacks and deal damage. If Elden Beast rose up, jump at the right moment; otherwise, its circle will engulf you.
There is also another way to beat the boss quickly, but it might be an AI exploit; therefore, it could be patched in the future. When you use the Mimic Tear, try to keep it alive while fighting the Radagon so it would be there when the Elden Beast appears. When Elden Beast tries to attack the Mimic Tear, the bug would be activated, and the boss won’t attack you at all. You can slay the beast without any effort.
Elden Ring is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
