There is a vast selection of weapons in Elden Ring, giving the game many different possibilities for playstyles and builds. One of these weapons is the Winged Scythe, a Reaper weapon that does both physical and holy damage with a Weapon Skill that calls to mind a particular Old Hunter. A dependable and cool weapon, players will want to know where they can get this weapon. Luckily, once you know where it is found, the Scythe is really easy to acquire. This guide will show players where to find the Winged Scythe weapon in Elden Ring.
Where To Find The Winged Scythe In Elden Ring
The Winged Scythe isn’t like certain other weapons where they are rewards for a boss but rather is one that will be found in a chest in the overworld. The location where you will find the Winged Scythe is in the Tobmsward Ruins, found in the southern region of Limgrave, the Weeping Pennisula. Head south of the starting area and cross the Bridge of Sacrifice. Once across, head to the left through the woods to the location pictured below, where you will find the Ruins and be one step closer to getting yourself the Winged Scythe.

Once you arrive here, you will find a flight of stairs that goes under the ruins. There is a room at the bottom with two enemies that use a rapier and a crossbow. They can both attack from range and have fairly quick attacks, so don’t get overwhelmed. Once they are dealt with, you can head to the end of the room and open the heavy steel door. There will be a chest inside which holds the Winged Sythe that you were looking for.
Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
