O’Hara has been known as Spiderman 2099 of Earth 928 since he first appeared in comics in 1992. He acquired superpowers when his DNA unintentionally merged with a spider’s. However, after Scarlet Spider realizes he is a clone, he starts a new biffing with Peter Parker. And in a new twist, the duo later realizes that the clone is the original Spiderman and Peter is the clone. Ben has premiered in Spiderman films all through, and now he is returning to Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse.
