Being a malevolent ruler has its perks, but simply being awful isn’t all there is to it. There are many steps to achieving true villainy, and you’ll need a great deal of help to get there. What will you achieve in Rebellion’s villainy simulator Evil Genius 2?
Evil Genius 2Â Release Date and Features
The villainy simulator released to Steam back in March, but Evil Genius 2Â will soon be coming to consoles. Here are some of the features to look forward to:
- Build Your Lair –Â What’s a villain without their stereotypical lair? Build a base that suits how you play. And compliment it with devices for your minions to take advantage of.
- Bolster Your Ranks – Sure, it’s great to have minions, but they can only do so much. In addition to an expendable army, one can train specialists. Each henchman in Evil Genius 2 comes with its own abilities, complimenting a variety of play styles.
- Defend Yourself – In this villainy simulator, achieving world domination is not easy. You’ll also have to take on the Forces of Justice. Don’t worry, though. Because you’ll be able to set traps for any would-be wanderer. Lay out a Venus spy-trap for them or surprise them with the Pinball Bumper. Ensure those pesky spies can’t put a stop to your plan, and enjoy watching them fail at their task.
- The Plot Thickens – In Evil Genius 2, it’s important to have a plan. Pave a path towards the creation of a Doomsday device. Or simply mess with the world populace. Not only can you kidnap the Governor of Maine, but you can give Alaska a permanent summer.
The title will release to Xbox Games Pass, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4/5 in Q4 of 2021.
