Details of Actor Ezra Miller’s Alleged Threatening behavior
The Daily Beast report says that a series of texts between the minor, the minor’s mother, and their neighbor contains corroborated details of the event. According to the texts, Miller was present in the neighbor’s home. The neighbor is in a band with Miller’s friend, Whitney Suter. Miller was armed and wearing a bulletproof vest. The mother claims to have been traveling with what she refers to as “her tribe,” leading to Miller accusing her of cultural appropriation. Later, Miller started making claims that the board game Parcheesi had Rastafarian roots. Miller allegedly got aggressive when asked to back up that claim. At that point, the actor is said to have revealed the gun, saying, “Talking like that could get you into a really serious situation.”
The report also claims that Ezra Miller accused the Massachusetts mother of being a vampire and then began behaving inappropriately with the minor. The reported inappropriate behavior involved over-complimenting, moving closer, requesting an Instagram add, and pushing for the minor to go into fashion. The minor recalls the experience by saying, “They automatically were just weirdly drawn to me and kept talking about how they love my outfit and love my style, and kept going on and on about how it was great. It was really uncomfortable. I was really nervous. I was scared to be around them after he’d yelled at my mother and she was crying.”
(Note: Miller identifies as non-binary. The minor, who also identifies as non-binary, is referring to Miller with “they/them” pronouns)
Ezra Miller’s Legal Issues and Instagram Account
Miller has been the subject of much legal drama this year. He was arrested in March in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and then arrested a second time for assault. This has led to many demanding the actor be removed from his role as Barry Allen/The Flash in the DCEU.
Miller has not commented on all of this legal drama. However, the actor did post a series of memes on Instagram that appeared to mock authorities. One read, “You can’t touch me. I am in another universe.” Entertainment Weekly reports that Miller’s verified Instagram account has been deactivated.
