Formula 1 fans get ready, there is an extra special treat for you this weekend. The Humble Store is offering F1 2018 for free this weekend to keep on PC.
F1 2018 is the official video game for Formula One, the globetrotting motorsport where drivers race cars at up to 200 miles per hour. While the game is a few years out of date, it is still a fantastic introduction to the sport.
Codemasters develop the F1 games, and they are one of the higher tiers of racing simulators.
Akin to other annual sports games like FIFA or Madden, the Formula 1 games have some slight changes between the different years. Drivers will sometimes shift or leave their teams, and the tracks will change depending on what was happening that year.

The games work as a companion to the real season but have expanded more in their own ways. The most recent games include a story mode where you race as your own team with fictional drivers for the game.
Comparing F1 2018 to this season of Formula 1, there have been some major changes. The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has made it so the races are run without spectators, and if a driver has been tested positive there are not allowed to race.
Formula 1 is also hosting a special anniversary themselves. The 70th Anniversary Grand Prix is going on this weekend to commemorate the first race that happened at the Silverstone Circuit in 1950.
The game is available to download for free via The Humble Store until Monday. While it is free for this weekend, the Humble Bundle page does list that supplies are limited so grab it fast. The code for F1 2018 is a Steam key, so a Steam account is required to play.
