Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, originally released for Android, PlayStation 4, and PC is coming to Nintendo Switch! If you’re a fan of Mediatonic’s Fall Guys, get ready to “fall it up” this summer on Switch!
Ultimate Knockout Battle Royale, With Color
Fall Guys is by no means under a radar title. If this is your first time hearing about it, it’s a game that took the initial platforms it was released on by storm. You’ll find a lot of people enjoying its gameplay, including some well-known streamers. This platformer battle royale is a fresh take on the battle royale formula. Its whimsical aesthetic really makes for a better experience as opposed to some of its more “serious” competitors. Its third season started last December and is still ongoing.
The game is often compared to Among Us, probably due to the fact that both games grew in popularity during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even so, this game had over a million and a half downloads within its first day. By August 28, 2020, it reached over seven million sales. So there are a lot of people who were excited about this game coming to other consoles, and I can imagine a lot of them are on Switch.
In case you’re tired of other battle royales or perhaps are thinking of trying a battle royale title for the first time, definitely consider Fall Guys. It’s a far cry from other games within its genre. This summer’s Switch launch is definitely a good place to start when it comes to alternative battle royale formulas.
When it comes to news regarding other quirky titles, Splatoon 3 has been announced. On a more serious note, the Druid class is coming to Baldur’s Gate III. Are you a Switch player? Excited about Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout coming to your console of choice? Let us know in the comments below!
