Wendy’s latest marketing campaign joins them with other popular tabletop roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons and Call of Cthulhu. If you’ve ever wanted to ask your players if they want fries with that, now is your chance. Yes, that’s right, the fast-food restaurant now has a TTRPG based on their food.
The creators named their campaign book Feast of Legends and it features 97 pages of detailed art, character and monster descriptions and stats for players to choose from.
“The nation of Freshtovia has been the lone beacon of hope in the land of Beef’s Keep for decades. However, the Ice Jester and his rogues gallery of frozen fiends threaten Queen Wendy’s reign of prosperity. Prepare your heroes for adventure.”
Feast of Legends centers on the kingdom of Freshtovia and queen Wendy as she fights to protect the land from those who dare serve circular frozen beef patties. There are subtle jokes and nods to other popular fast-food chains, such as the United Clown Nations, as they are considered enemy nations to Freshtovia.
It’s a delightful journey and fun concept that honestly doesn’t even feel like a campaign stunt. Reading it over feels like I’m learning a brand new RPG and I actually really dig it.

It includes character classes, or Orders, as the writers called them. Each one revolves around a particular and delicious menu item you can find at Wendy’s.
The concept of Feast of Legends is nearly identical to that of Dungeons and Dragons. There is a game master who creates the story and the players who act out the emotions and reactions of their characters. Both role dice like the d20 to see if they succeed or fail in a specific action then roll damage with a d4, d6, and so on. There are even items lie the spatula players can get that help them in battle. One of my favorites is Dave’s Never Frozen Spatula.
Feast of Legends is an entertaining and well-crafted campaign book that feels and looks incredible. The PDF version is free to download and play now.
