Yet another chilling case of a corrupt cop story has gone viral over the internet, and this time, it involves a female sheriff from Miami, Florida. The female Miami cop has practically ruined her career after the FBI found out about her sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl, whom she then threatened to kill after the girl decided to cut ties with her.
This disturbing story came from newly released federal court documents from the FBI. 51-year-old Deputy Carle Miranda Blum of the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is the police officer in question, and she was caught because an anonymous witness tipped off the FBI back on July 14 about her activity involving a 17-year-old girl. The witness even managed to give the FBI access to the teenager victim’s phone, further revealing dialogue about the abuse, such as Blum’s messages to the minor:
“I really need to R**E your a**… You know I don’t think I’ve ever asked a lot from you. The only thing I ever wanted was your attention. I even stopped asking a long time ago anything sexual from you,” according to the messages Carle Miranda Blum sent to the 17-year-old girl, according to FBI documents.
The FBI also discovered several sex videos of Blum and the 17-year-old girl, where a couple of the clips even involved choking the minor during the sex act. The minor, who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, was also gifted a Honda Accord, and messages between her and Blum also alluded to romantic ties.
Blum even sent numerous messages to the 17-year-old girl “counting down” to her 18th birthday, as the Miami deputy seems to have plans to marry the teenager as soon as she’s of legal age. Thankfully, Blum didn’t get to carry out this plan as it appears the girl tried to break up with her, though not without incurring more of the deputy’s violent abuse:
“Leave me and see what happens. I will f—ing drive my favorite knife thru your throat and watch you slowly. I swear on my granparents. Make you suferr luke you make me… You didn’t even fight to keep me. SMH. I WOULD NEVER STOP FIGHTING TO KEEP YO,” threatens Blum, transcript courtesy of Local10
Hence, Blum was arrested soon in July 22 after the FBI was tipped off. Blum has been charged with two counts of child exploitation and might face 50 years in prison, but she is currently detained in a Georgia jail awaiting trial.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office & Everyone Else Condemns Blum
Despite her 29-year veteran status as a Miami deputy, Blum’s law enforcement colleagues were disturbed by the allegations. The sheriff’s office immediately stripped Blum of her badge and even quickly assisted the federal officers in the investigation, as it seems Blum’s sexual exploitation of the minor has been going on for a long time.
Meanwhile, people online who were made aware of the female Miami cop’s abuse have a less lenient suggestion for a punishment. Some even recommended putting Blum in the newly built Alligator Alcatraz in Florida, though others were not surprised given the numerous allegations for Florida cops or US cops in general.
