Final Fantasy 14 remains to be one of the most-played MMOs of the year. While World of Warcraft is regaining a lot of players due to the latest Dragonflight expansion, Square Enix’s MMO is standing strong too. Last week, we had the live letter of the upcoming update. In said live stream, we were able to see a lot of things that will arrive with the next patch. However, one thing has players excited and it doesn’t have to do with raids or dungeons. Final Fantasy 14‘s 6.3 patch will release more plots for players to purchase and get their houses. This is great given how convoluted the housing system is in the game, but with these changes, many are happy already.
Final Fantasy 14 is adding 1800 houses when patch 6.3 arrives
The number of houses added will be per server. This means that you’ll be able to try your chance at the lottery system to get any of the plots. We all know that Final Fantasy 14 houses are scarce, especially in big servers, but with 6.3 almost here, we hope some players get the opportunity to win a plot.

Beyond that, the new update will continue with the Post-Endwalker story. The latest expansion was one of the most successful ones for the game that also closed a 10-year-old narrative. Now, players are enjoying the story that might set up the next expansion. While Naoki Yoshida encourages players to take breaks, this is a great time to jump back in the game and try what the updates have brought. From a brand new Island Sanctuary to one of the most fun Alliance Raids in the year, the MMO boasts a lot of content for people to try. Final Fantasy 14’s 6.3 update launches on January 10, 2023, with many houses, new content, and more to do. But, if you prefer single-player games, Final Fantasy 16 will release in June of 2023.
