After you jump into World of Warcraft: Dragonflight for the first time, one of the first tasks you’ll be sent on is to locate the Golden Dragon Goblet. Now, the Golden Dragon Goblet may be marked on your map, but don’t assume that it will be easy to find; it’ll still be a bit tricky. The location of the Golden Dragon Goblet is discreet and pretty hard to locate. Luckily for you, this guide can help you find its exact location so that you can complete the task. Keep reading along to learn how to find the Golden Dragon Goblet in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
Where is the Golden Dragon Goblet in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight?
Once you’re into the Dragon Isles, you’ll want to head straight for the Waking Shores. There, you should be able to see the area marked on your minimap where the Golden Dragon Goblet should be. However, once you’re there, it’s likely that you still won’t be able to find the Golden Dragon Goblet simply because of how hidden it is.
Once you’re in the area marked on your map, look around for a ramp leading up to a rocky-looking mound in the ground. If you search around on top of this mound, you should be able to find the Golden Dragon Goblet hiding in a pile of gold that rests near the end of the mound. If you still can’t find it, the exact coordinates on the Golden Dragon Goblet are 65.8, 41.8.
If you wish to find the Golden Dragon Goblet outside the Dragonflight questline, this is also possible. You just have to take a couple of extra steps before beginning your search. First, you’ll have to travel to either Dragonscale Basecamp or Wingrest Embassy. There, you’ll need to speak to Cataloger Jakes. You will need to then purchase Archaeologist Artifact Notes from him. Now, you should be able to search for and locate the Golden Dragon Goblet in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight without following the questline.
