Fire Emblem Heroes continues to receive updates and additions from Nintendo and Intelligent Systems in the form of fixes, adjustments, new characters and events, and sign-in bonuses. The most recent change falls into the new characters category with four heroes from Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones joining the party. This latest summoning focus arrives on August 15th and offers axe-wielder Amelia, cavalryman Seth, archer prince Innes, and the pegasus-riding princess Tana. Check them out in the video below and remember: your first summon on any new focus banner will be free of charge from now on.
Continuing on to the Fire Emblem Warriors side of things, we have some new concept art for two Fire Emblem characters that will appear in the game. We already know Marth will be playable.
But here’s some art for a money-loving gal who’s managed to sneak into pretty much every Fire Emblem game, including the spinoffs; It is Anna.
Not that the game’s Twitter account bothered to mention Anna’s role in Warriors, but it’s a relatively safe bet she’ll join the other heroes on the battlefield, sell them stuff in between skirmishes, or both. It might also be safe to assume that she’ll act as a sort of tutor, showing the player the basics at the start of the game (hopefully for free, Nintendo Switch)!
Fire Emblem Heroes is available for mobile devices, while Warriors is set to release for Nintendo Switch consoles sometime this year. The developers have promised a larger roster for the game than the usual 14 for most Dynasty Warriors entries. Though if we count all the reveals so far, including Anna and Tiki, we’ve already broken that threshold. Fire Emblem is getting some serious love from Nintendo as of late, and there’s no reason to doubt that’s going to slow down going forward.
