The first official trailer for Glass has debuted at San Diego Comic-Con:

Glass - Official Trailer [HD]

(Spoilers for Unbreakable and Split ahead. If you haven’t seen both movies, I highly recommend you do so before reading on)

Back in 2000, M. Night Shyamalan directed a “superhero” movie called Unbreakable starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. It was a flop when it first released but over time has become a cult classic. 16 years later, Shyamalan released Split, which turned out to be one of the best movies of the year and a spiritual sequel to Unbreakable.

After the 2016 hit, many fans have been eagerly waiting for the conclusion of this franchise. Glass is that conclusion. Taking place after the events of Split, it seems that David Dunn (Bruce Willis) and The Horde (James McAvoy) are heading towards an epic collision with Samuel L. Jackson’s Mr. Glass.

At the end of Unbreakable, it is revealed that Elijah Price (or Mr. Glass) caused the train wreck at the beginning of the film and ultimately put the events of the story in motion. Price wanted to prove that there was someone out there with special abilities. He was eventually taken into custody and hasn’t been seen since.

David Dunn is another story. Dunn is seen at the end of Split at a diner hearing the news of McAvoy’s The Horde, setting up this film. Along with McAvoy and Willis, Split’s co-lead Anya Taylor-Joy is also returning to her role as Casey Cooke. It’s still unclear how she’ll fit in but if this trailer is any indication, Casey will play an integral part in Glass.
