Bee and Puppycat Netflix Trailer and Release Date
The new Bee and Puppycat series for Netflix received its first trailer earlier this morning. The trailer shows what the new series will focus on and reveals a glimpse of what season two will look like.
The series was originally a short web series created by Natasha Allegri and posted on the official Cartoon Hangover YouTube channel back in 2013. It was funded entirely by a Kickstarter campaign. The episodes were eventually moved t the streaming platform VRV in 2014, where they received an entire season and gained a cult following.
The series focuses on a young, unemployed woman named Bee (voiced by Allyn Rachel) who one day encounters a mysterious creature known as a Puppycat. The series follows the pair as they go on adventures while Bee attempts to do small jobs to earn her rent and features a charming art style and a lovable cast of characters.
Netflix released the first Bee and Puppycat trailer on their website, and the series seems to be confirmed for a release date of September 6, 2022. Frederator Studios first announced that new episodes of Bee and Puppycat were in production in 2017, and only now has that been confirmed.
