Forspoken has been one of the most controversial games of the year, and we’re not even halfway through 2023. The game, while it had some good marketing, fell flat when it launched. This can be attributed to poor storytelling, bad dialogue, and confusing combat. Plus, there were some other big games there that overshadowed this one. Games such as Dead Space Remake, Fire Emblem Engage, and more. With that out of the way, the game also had some technical problems that Square Enix is trying to fix. In the recent 1.10 patch of Forspoken, it seems that the update brought more issues than fixes to the game.
Forspoken patch 1.10 brings issues that make players crash during cutscenes
It is always bad to get a new patch hoping for fixes and instead finding more issues just like what is happening with the 1.10 update of Forspoken. The developers behind it have already acknowledged the situation and are working on a way to solve the problem. Still, this is something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Players are experiencing crashes during certain cutscenes or when performing some actions. For a game that relies on action-oriented combat, this is bad.
We’re aware that there is an issue where the game occasionally crashes in certain scenes or by certain actions after the release of Patch 1.10.
We are now working on the bug fix and are planning to release an update patch to resolve the issue on March 17 2023.

Square Enix Admits Forspoken Failing Was “Challenging”
The next patch is bound to get here on March 17. According to Square Enix, this is when the issues of the latest 1.10 patch of Forspoken will get sorted out. Players are hoping for the new patch to fix things instead of breaking some others. Hopefully, that’ll be the way. Again, it is sad and concerning to see a game like this one falling flat as it showed promise. Especially when it comes from a big developer such as Square Enix. But, if we know one thing, it is that developers tend to learn from their mistakes, so we hope the next big game they do launches in a better shape.
