Fortnite and Star Wars Come Together

Did you miss the Game Awards 2019? Then you might have missed one of the quickest but interesting reveals. Star Wars is coming to Fortnite. To be honest there wasn’t a lot revealed. However, we did get a special appearance by none other than The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker director himself, J.J. Abrams. Good old J.J. came on screen at the Game Awards to announce when and where to show up to the special event.

This event will be experienced in-game in real-time. The “doors” will open on December 14th, 1:30 PM ET. While the event will start at 2 PM ET. Everyone that shows up will go home with a TIE Whisper glider. And when I say go home I mean you will get the glider in Fortnite, sorry you can’t have one in your actual home folks.

Don’t worry though this event comes with more than gliders. Celebrate with in-game Star Wars-themed outfits, gliders (duh), pickaxes and emotes. Join J.J. Abrams and the crew at 1:30 PM ET and the event starts at 2:30 PM ET.
