Fortnite Creative 2.0 is finally live, after days of speculations. Epic Games launched the tool after an update on the popular video game on Wednesday. Creative 2.0 will bring new exciting and incredible features into the game.
Fortnite Creative 2.0 also dubbed the Unreal Engine for Fortnite will be available on multiple devices.
The new update will allow the tool to be launched on any supported device. However, only PC gamers can actively interact and create maps.
Fortnite Creative 2.0 update is free to download and access via the Epic Games launcher. The feature is still in its beta stages, signaling that designers and players might find various bugs.
Some of the steps in downloading Fortnite Creative 2.0, include opening the Epic Games launcher, look for “Unreal Editor for Fortnite,” and Click on the button on the right side. Then, click “place transaction to confirm, and finally, download the add-on into the game.

Will Fortnite Creative 2.0 Be Available on Consoles?
Considering the complex nature of the Unreal Editor, the developer is unlikely to launch the feature on consoles. The tool has many advanced roles like coding whereby a game controller is not appropriate for editing.
Despite the challenge, console players can still actively take part in the development of maps. Fortnite 2.0 comprises of live collaboration to allow console players to join maps in the development phase.
Epic Games announced that they will share 40% of Fortnite’s net revenue with designers and developers. The decision motivates the players to utilize the tools to develop exciting maps for the battle royale game.
