Spring is upon us, and Epic Games, for the first time, is celebrating it by bringing a Spring Breakout event to Fortnite. As part of the celebration, Epic Games is introducing new quests with in-game rewards, new skins, and a Duos competition to the game. Spring Breakout kicks off today, and here is everything you need to know about Fortnite’s latest event.

New Skins in the Fortnite Spring Breakout Event
The theme of all the skins in this event revolves around bunnies and ducks. The flagship skin is called ‘Webster,’ a creepy-looking duck with an eerie vibe to it. It looks robotic and has pink hair, which makes it even more outrageous. From what we know, there is also a female version of the skin. Apart from that, the official image Epic Games have released shows two generic characters dressed up in a bunny suit. There is also a business bunny skin that looks just as creepy as the rest.
New Quests in the Fortnite Spring Breakout Event
Although the event goes live today, players will only be able to take on challenges after March 31. Webster, who is the latest character joining the game, has his own set of legendary quests that players can take on. Players that complete the first legendary quest will unlock the Tactical Quaxes Pickaxe. Finally, Egg Launcher is also making a return to the game as part of the new quests.
Spring Breakout Cup in Fortnite
Epic Games is also bringing the Duos competition back to the game. In-game competitions have always been a fan favorite, and we can expect the same this time around. The tournament will commence on April 2 and players will have 3 hours to complete up to 10 matches. Duos with the highest points in each server region will be rewarded with Webster outfit and Mecha-Feathers Black Bling.
