One of the more tricky Quests of Week 5 to complete for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 requires players to “Fall 10 stories or more without taking Damage.” Those who have experienced a fall from such a height will know that a 10-story drop will likely result in one’s death. Fortunately, the Season Quest provides some extra valuable information in its description, letting Fortnite fans know how such a problematic task can be performed. The text above the objective reads, “Drop down from a zipline or land in water to cushion your fall.” These instructions are the key to completing this confusing Quest for Week 5 in Fortnite.
Falling 10 Stories Without Taking Damage In Fortnite
To fall 10 Stories without taking any damage in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, survivors have several options. They must find a high spot from which they can safely land in water or search for a zipline tall enough to fulfill the challenge. Such locations include Command Cavern and Coney Crossroads.
One optimal spot in Fortnite to complete the “Fall 10 stories or more without taking Damage” Quest is Command Cavern, an IO-controlled landmark in the northwestern portion of the map. Players can travel to this area and make their way to the left side of the giant satellite dish. Go past a radio tower and look for an orange zipline near the ledge to the north. Jumping from this spot into the water below will guarantee completion of the Fortnite Quest.
Another method for avoiding fall damage from 10 stories in Fortnite would be to grab onto a zipline atop an IO Blimp but immediately jump down to reach the ground level and complete the Quest. The Blimp in Coney Crossroads is high enough for this endeavor. It should be noted that the Blimps in Command Cavern, Rocky Reels, and Tilted Towers are also high enough to complete this technique. Furthermore, these Blimps oftentimes have a Jetpack inside that players can use to propel themselves into the air and fall into a body of water below, completing the Quest.
Fortnite is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
